The Founders' Award was established in 2012, and is given each year to an individual who has contributed significantly to the School's growth and development. Prior recipients include: Kate Burke; Charlie Moore and Kiwi Ferris; and Steve Habersetzer.
Shelley was the first Chair of the School's Board of Directors. She played a major role in developing the School's business structure and in the transition from a business partnership to a fully-fledged 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
School founders Tim Lawson, John Marckworth, and Jim Tolpin said, "Shelly's professional and 'den mother' skills helped us establish a firm foundation on which to build for the future. We want to recognize and thank her most sincerely for her belief in our vision, her hard work, and her unwavering support."
A delicious, hearty breakfast featuring local produce and baked goods will be served.
Please join us in celebrating Shelley and her contribution to the School's success.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support Shelley!
