Raphael Berrios

Raphael first came to PTSW as a student in 2016. After taking the Foundations of Woodwork intensive, Raphael joined the school as a staff member, holding many responsibilities from teaching assistant, instructor, and program manager. He moved on from his staff position at the school to start his own woodworking business in 2022 and has since joined the board in the interest of continuing to support PTSW and its mission. 

“As a lifelong learner, I am constantly finding new ways to grow, adapt and excel. I am a planner and a dreamer and I get excited at the prospect of taking on complex problems. I have an open-minded approach to the way we work, and I deeply believe that everyone has the ability to learn new skills. My varied experience on the ground at PTSW gives me insight and compassion for students, staff, and faculty alike.”
